Former NBA champion Antoine Walker says that the Lakers should make a bold move and trade Anthony Davis this coming offseason as he has the most value.
Walker laid out two potential paths for Los Angeles, one of which includes trading Davis and starting over. He mentioned teams like the Thunder and Kings that would love to get AD because they have no chance of getting a superstar via free agency.
“Of course the Lakers should trade Anthony Davis,” Walker said on First Things First. “The Lakers need to make a decision: 1. Let LeBron stay with us, be a playoff team and break all of the records or 2. Keep LeBron, trade AD and start this thing over. You have to give up AD because he has the most value.”
