The Lakers snapped a three-game losing streak with a win over the Raptors (128-123), a team that team them a few days ago. After the game Los Angeles head coach Frank Vogel was pleased with his players’ effort also admitting that there they could have given up on this season but did not do that.

“I love how our guys are staying in the fight,” Vogel said postgame. “We have had a tough season and there’s been plenty of opportunities to quit and to let go of the rope and to give in. Our guys haven’t done that. We’re staying together.

“It hasn’t always been perfect but we really competed I think the last couple of games and didn’t get W’s. And came out tonight and did it for 48 minutes. Got a lot of contributions from Wenyen and Avery stepping up making big shots.

“Obviously Bron having that stretch down the crunch time three or four big buckets in a row and obviously the big shot by Russ. Really a great team win. We shared the basketball with 33 assists Happy to break this road losing streak we’ve been on.”
