The Denver Nuggets are reportedly interested in acquiring the San Antonio Spurs guard Bryn Forbes, as provided by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Forbes, who is detailed to be open for a trade bidding, remains a key target before the Feb. 10 deadline by several teams, including the Nuggets. Scotto further argued that moving Forbes will benefit the Spurs’ first-year man point guard Joshua Primo.

The 28-year-old Forbes returned to San Antonio in the last offseason after a one-year leave and a memorable championship run with the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2021 playoffs. In the 2021-2022 season for the 12th-seeded silver and black, he is currently averaging 9.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.0 assist in 16.9 minutes.

Meanwhile, though currently overloaded with backcourt players, the contending Nuggets will certainly benefit from Forbes’ marksmanship, who is shooting almost 42 percent from downtown. As such, he’ll perfectly fit the dimes and play-making of reigning MVP Nikola Jokic.
