Austin Reaves entered the NBA this season as an undrafted rookie with a team full of experienced veterans. Despite that, the 23-year-old shooting guard was able to find a place in the rotation and become an important role player.

Recently, he was asked why he fits so well with the Los Angeles Lakers and what kind of his skills help him achieve that.

“I think it’s just willing to do whatever on the court if it’s play defense, dive on the floor for loose balls, take charges, just all those little things that can either win or lose you a game is the things that I’m kind of able to do here,” Reaves said. “Just like I said those things and make them win a basketball plays.”

This season, Reaves is averaging 5.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game for the purple and gold.
