Jerami Grant has been out indefinitely with a thumb injury, but he may attract interest from several teams heading to the NBA trade deadline.

The Detroit Pistons forward could be a potential suitor for title contending teams with his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.

The Athletic’s James Edwards III reports that contenders are “routinely calling Detroit about Grant”. While Edwards does not name any specific destinations, he refers to various team that could have interest in Grant.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported in December that the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers were interested in Grant.

One notable possibility is the Chicago Bulls because, as Edwards reports, the Pistons were high on Bulls forward Patrick Williams in the 2020 NBA Draft. Williams is a better fit for the young Pistons, who are set to be in the lottery again next summer.
