The Atlanta Hawks, like many other NBA teams, have been hit with injuries and Covid protocols. As a result, the team is without a whole bunch of players. At the time of this reporting, fourteen Hawks players are on the injury list.

While the league is postponing games of other teams, Atlanta has to play its games. Most recently, they lost to the Chicago Bulls and now are on a three-game losing streak. Hawks star Trae Young pointed out at the different treatment that some teams get from the NBA.

“I was just confused,” Young said about seeing the game between the Heat and Spurs getting postponed, via Chris Kirschner. “We had like four guys fly in last night just to make the roster and play today. We were able to find a way.

“I don’t know if it’s on the league or on our part to complain and be forceful with what’s going on. Other teams have gotten games postponed and are waiting on guys to get back. We have, really, three guys who play big minutes for our team, when you include (Skylar Mays), we have four guys. It’s kind of crazy.”
