Lineup notes from players on bottom West teams.

  • Oklahoma City Thunder third year forward Darius Bazley is now coming off the bench. The 21-year-old started in every game he was healthy for during his second season and began 2021-22 as a starter. In 4 games off the bench, he’s averaged a productive 11.3 PPG/7.5 RPG/2.3 BPG/48.6% FG.
  • After starting in 14 of his first 15 games for the Houston Rockets, veteran center Daniel Theis has only appeared in 5 games while receiving 11 DNP’s. With Houston’s youth clearly the focus for the future, this might be a sign that Theis could get traded by the deadline.
  • New Portland Trail Blazer Tony Snell is averaging career lows of 12.2 MPG/1.9 PPG/31.9% FG/30.6% 3-PT this season. As for Portland’s Anfernee Simons & Nassir Little, they’re playing career best basketball off the bench. Simons puts up 12.1 PPG & 2.1 APG and Little tallies 8.5 PPG & 5.4 RPG.
  • San Antonio’s Jock Landale & Sacramento’s Damian Jones have been playing efficient basketball in their last 4 games. Landale averaged 11.5 PPG/5.0 RPG/69.6% FG/100.0% 3-PT and Jones put up 10.0 PPG/4.8 RPG/1.3 BPG/61.5% FG.
