The Chicago Bulls are committing towards Alfonzo McKinnie this season. The Bulls have decided to grant the forward a standard contract for the rest of the season, per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium. To have space, the team will waive Alize Johnson.

With wings Alex Caruso and Derrick Jones Jr. out, McKinnie is expected to step up further for the second-seeded Chi-town. He is averaging eight markers per game for 25 minutes upon signing a 10-day hardship deal.
