Reigning Turkish Airlines Euroleague champion Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv added depth to its roster when it registered guard Joseph Forte, who has been training with the team since last season.

Forte (33 years old, 1.91 meters) last played for Petrochimi Bandar Imam Harbour of Iran, where he averaged 9 points and 3 rebounds in two games in 2012.

Forte has also played for Carmatic Pistoia, Edimes Pavia, Snaidero Udine, Fortitudo Bologna and Montepaschi Siena of Italy, Unics Kazan of Russia, Apollon Patras of Greece, Asheville of the D-League, as well as for Seattle and Boston of the NBA. He helped Asheville win the D-League title in 2005 and lifted the Italian League trophy with Montepaschi in 2007.
