Phoenix Suns superstar Devin Booker was forced to leave the game against Warriors after suffering a left hamstring injury during the first half.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Booker’s injury is considered a minor one; however, the Suns are expected to be cautious with their superstar.

As a result, Booker will likely miss ‘a few games’ in the process. The Suns are currently in the midst of a 17-game winning streak after beating the Warriors 104-96 on Tuesday to push their season record to 18-3.

Booker is the best scoring option for Phoenix and the centerpiece of their offense. He is currently averaging 23.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for the Suns this season.

The Phoenix All-Star is also knocking down a career-high 40.3 percent of his 3-point attempts. It’s still unclear how many games Booker will miss, but the Suns have the depth to cover for their star, at least for a few games.

Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton will likely shoulder most of the offensive burden for the reigning NBA finalists. At the same time, Cameron Payne will maybe see an increase in his time on the floor.
