Frank Vogel didn’t use Malik Monk in the second half vs the Cleveland Cavaliers, yet the Lakers earned the 101-113 home win.

The head coach of the Lakers told reporters he preferred to use Avery Bradley instead, due to his excellent defense against Cleveland guards.

However, Frank Vogel made it clear he is very satisfied with Monk’s performance, calling him ‘outstanding’.

Monk played just five minutes vs the Cavs and didn’t score any points. He is expected to have more playing time, though, vs the Houston Rockets on Sunday.
