Phoenix Suns will play without Devin Booker in their second preseason game, in which they face the Los Angeles Lakers. Booker has been absent from training camp until recently, due to health and safety protocols.

He is listed as out for the game against the Lakers tonight. According to head coach Monty Williams, Booker is nearing full fitness after missing the start of the training camp.

The Phoenix Suns relied on Landry Shamet in their first match against the Sacramento Kings. Booker is coming off a strong season leading the Suns to the NBA Finals last year.

Apart from Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Jae Crowder were rested in the first game, while Dario Saric is unavailable due to the ACL tear he suffered during the 2021 NBA Finals.
