Houston Rockets officially announced the signing of Australian guard Dante Exum. Exum, who spent last season in Houston, was the 5th overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft.

He was acquired from Cleveland as part of a massive four-team trade in January 2021. Exum was part of the Australian national team, which won the Bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.

He averaged 9.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 20.7 minutes per contest. He also shot 56.7 percent from the floor and 60.0 percent from 3-point range, helping the Boomers to their first medal in international competition.

Exum, 26, played only 24 games last season due to a broken foot that kept him out for two months. He spent the first five years of his career in Utah, while the last two seasons played for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
