The Los Angeles Lakers made official the signing of Joel Ayayi and Austin Reaves to two-way contracts that will make them eligible to play for the team’s G League affiliate the South Bay Lakers.
“I can’t wait to represent the Lakers organization and just get to it,” Reaves, 23-year-old former Oklahoma Sooner, said after signing the contract.
Frenchman Ayayi, 21, arrives from Gonzaga where he spent the past four years. “It’s really my pleasure to be able to rock the Purple and Gold,” he said.
