The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly targeting several veterans ahead of the start of free agency. According to Broderick Turner, Andrew Greif, and Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times, the 17-time NBA champions have Andre Iguodala and Trevor Ariza among their candidates.

Iguodala, 37, who won three championships with the Golden State Warriors and was named Finals MVP in 2015, spent this past season in Miami averaging 4.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. The Heat have a team option for another year. Iggy will become an unrestricted free agent if Miami does not use it today.

Ariza, 36, has been a rumored target of the Lakers in the past as well. Last season, he played 30 games for the Miami Heat averaging 9.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He became an unrestricted free agent this summer.
