Philadelphia 76ers’ veteran wing Danny Green exited Friday’s game vs. the Atlanta Hawks with a calf injury and was eventually ruled out from the rest of the contest.

Green left for the locker room during the first quarter and returned in a walking boot in the Sixers’ bench. Green had a tough start in the series vs. Atlanta, averaging 8.0 points with 37.8 percent of his three-point attempts sinking.

Green averaged 9.5 points and 3.8 assists per game this season while shooting 40.5 percent from behind the arc. The three-time champion has been diagnosed with a calf strain.

It’s unclear how much time Green will miss as the Sixers are fighting for a place in the Conference Finals. Matisse Thybulle, Tyrese Maxey and Furkan Korkmaz will definitely see more minutes with Green out.
