Los Angeles Lakers’ season came abruptly to an end after losing their opening playoff round series to the Phoenix Suns with injuries playing a huge role this season.

LeBron James missed time, while Anthony Davis was unable to perform due to injuries issues in the regular season and the playoffs.

Despite their disappointing ending to the season, the Lakers are not expected to make a move for a ‘big time player’, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst during an appearance on The Jump Friday.

The LA franchise will have to make several decisions this summer with Dennis Schröder and Andre Drummond being unrestricted free agents.

At the same time, Alex Caruso, Wesley Matthews, Markieff Morris and Ben McLemore are some role players set to hit free agency, while Montrezl Harrell has a player option.
