Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic had an excellent night in Game 2 of the series vs. the Portland Trail Blazers helping his team tie the series with a 109-128 victory.

Jokic received a tech for constantly barking at the officials during Monday’s matchup, and was asked to share his thoughts on the referee’s decision after the game.

(via Brandon Ewing of Denver Stiffs):

“It’s an emotional game. Of course the refs are doing the best job that they can… they have the toughest job, they make a good call, bad call, someone going to yell at them… I don’t know why anyone wants to become a ref to be honest.”

Jokic finished the game with 38 points shooting an excellent 15-of-20 from the field adding also eight rebounds and five assists in the process.

Denver will face Portland again on Thursday for Game 3 of the series with Nuggets hoping to regain the home court advantage after losing Game 1.
