One of the bigger stories ahead of the playoff first-round series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns was the NBA revealing that LeBron James violated the league’s health and safety protocols by attending an event for his tequila brand.
After Game 1 loss to Phoenix, the Lakers star was asked to make a comment on the reported violation. “I’ll be ready for Game 2,” the four-time NBA champion threw a short response.
LeBron played 36 minutes and was close to a triple-double as he had 18 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the Lakers.
