Anthony Davis and Andre Drummond were the top scorers for the Los Angeles Lakers in their recent loss to the Washington Wizards. The two bigs combined for 43 out of LA’s 107 points (Davis had 26 while Drummond added 17).

After the game the Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was asked whether he thought lineup of Davis and Drummond can work without LeBron James being present.

“Of course,” he responded. “Absolutely. We got two of the best bigs in the game. AD playing with another five man like he did all year last year was one of our best lineups. I do think that it will work I don’t know what the overall was tonight but it’s definitely a combination we believe in.”

So far Davis and Drummond played four games together for the reigning NBA champions. The Lakers lost three times and won once.
