Ben McLemore, the newest member of the Los Angeles Lakers squad, came in strong in the blowout victory over the Brooklyn Nets Saturday.

In Saturday’s contest, the veteran sharpshooter made five consecutive 3-pointers, after missing his first four 3-point attempts. He ended up putting 17 points to help the Lakers prevails over the Nets.

(via Silver Screen and Roll):

“Once I see one go in, it’s a wrap from there,” McLemore said. “Then I start making a few more and then I start rolling. It don’t take much for me to get hot, especially when I see one go in that was sweet.

Then I’ve got guys that are backing me up, continuing to build my confidence within myself to go out there and continue to shoot.”

The Lakers will definetely need McLemore’s confidence, especially with Anthony Davis and LeBron James out for the next 2-3 weeks.
