The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns and extended their winning streak to three games. It was α heated contest as two Clippers players, namely Patrick Beverley and Marcus Morris, were ejected in the fourth quarter.

In addition to physicality, there was a lot of trash talking going. After the game, Paul George reacted to the Suns players “chirping”, saying he does not pay attention to it.

“I don’t know what their chirp is about,” George said, per Tomer Azarly. “We focused on us. I don’t care what they’re doing over there. I don’t care who they are or what they’re doing. I’m locked in. They can do the chirping, I let them have it tonight.”

George was the top scorer for the winners with 33 points. Kawhi Leonard added 27 and the team’s newcomer Rajon Rondo scored 15.

The Clippers remained in the third place in the Western Conference. They are a single win behind the Suns. However, Phoenix has 15 losses, while LA has 18.
