The Euroleague career scoring leader, Juan Carlos Navarro, will miss the start of the Top 16 after suffering a torn muscle in his right thigh in a Spanish League game over the weekend.

The club expects Navarro to be out for six weeks. Navarro, 34, has already missed four games this season due to injuries. He averaged 8.5 points and 4.2 assists in the six Turkish Airlines Euroleague games he did participate in.

Navarro is the competition’s career leader in scoring (3,547 points), three-pointers made (517), free throws made (728), fouls drawn (1,022) and games played (266) and also ranks in the top 10 in turnovers (467, fourth), assists (680, sixth) and steals (219, seventh).
