The role of Marc Gasol on the Los Angeles Lakers remains an open issue. The team’s head coach Frank Vogel was once again asked about the role of the Spanish center after the Lakers suffered a heavy loss against the Clippers.
“Marc’s a winner,” Vogel said. “He fits what we’re trying to do. He’s dominating on the defensive end and offensively with his passing. We got a lot of guys that can score the basketball so his ability to facilitate offensively is really something that’s really helped us have success on the floor.”
Gasol played 18 minutes versus the Clippers and had 11 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
