Kyle Lowry is expected to be among the most ‘desirable’ veteran players as we’re approaching the March 25 trade deadline.

According to several reports, the slumping Raptors could look to move the veteran guard and the Philadelphia 76ers are among the teams interested in Lowry.

(via Michael Scotto of HoopsHype):

“The 76ers remain interested in acquiring Raptors guard Kyle Lowry, and rookie guard Tyrese Maxey is among the assets available as part of a trade package, league sources told HoopsHype.

There is no clear indication that the Raptors are looking to move the Philadelphia native, as Lowry also claimed that he would like to remain in Toronto.

However, several contenting teams including the Sixers and the Heat seem eager to add the two-way point-guard to their roster. Lowry is going to be an unrestricted free agent after the end of the season.

Maxey has showed some flashes in his rookie season as an end-bench option for Doc Rivers. The Kentucky product averages 7.6 points, on 45.8 percent shooting, through 37 games this season.
