Yet another big-time performance by Joel Embiid helped the Philadelphia 76ers keep their number one spot in the Eastern Conference. The Cameroonian center had 34 points and 11 rebounds, as the Sixers defeated the Hornets 118-111.

According to Miles Bridges, Embiid is unguardable right now and is rightfully considered the top MVP candidate. “It’s tough. That’s why he’s a top MVP candidate right now. It’s tough to stop him,” he said, per Jacob Rude.

Embiid is having the best season of his career so far, as he averages 28.6 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 31.8 minutes per game.
