Free agent center Alex Len has agreed to a one-year deal with the Washington Wizards, according to Shams Charania.

After clearing waivers, Len reportedly had multiple suitors and chose the opportunity with the Wizards, who need frontcourt depth after losing Thomas Bryant to a torn ACL.

As of Jan. 20, the Wizards also had frontcourt players Rui Hachimura and Moritz Wagner listed out due to health and safety protocols.

Len was waived by the Toronto Raptors on Jan. 19 after averaging 2.3 points per game in only 10.9 minutes per game so far this season.

The Wizards recently waived center Anzejs Pasecniks and had an open spot on their 15-man roster to sign Len.
