Orlando Magic guard Evan Fournier will be active and available to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Jan. 20, the team announced.
Fournier, who last played on Dec. 31, missed the last nine games due to back spasms.
The Magic went 2-7 in the nine games he missed, ranked 29th in offensive efficiency during that time and have lost six games in a row.
Fournier will likely be on a minutes restriction in his first game back.
In five games before getting hurt, the 28-year-old was averaging 14.8 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
