George Gervin was a recent guest on the Knuckleheads Podcast and had nothing but great words to say about his old team.

Gervin’s history with the Spurs dates all the way back to when they were an ABA team in the mid 1970’s.

“The Iceman” says he’s forever grateful to be a part of San Antonio’s culture to this day.

(Via Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson & Darius Miles):

“They treat me like I still play. I’m honored by it. I really am. People always say, ‘Well they should man, they owe you.’ They don’t owe me nothing, they gave me all my money. So, they don’t owe me nothing me man, but the relationship that I have with them is a good one.”
