Kentavious Caldwell-Pope exits game vs the Spurs with ankle injury

KCP was diagnosed with a mild left ankle sprain; he will not return to the game tonight.

It’s a left ankle sprain for KCP … he’s getting X-rays at the moment, and his status will be determined.

KCP just went down after what looked like a turn of his left ankle as he flew in for a layup attempt. He’s been off to a great, confident start to this season after a clutch Bubble performance.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been the Lakers most durable player for years. Played all 82 two years ago. Played in 69 of 71 last year, plus all of playoffs. Would be a significant absence if he has to miss time.
