Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul saves home court against ASVEL (81-59) thanks to excellent team play in the two middle quarters.

Now, after round 17, Fenerbahce has 7 wins and 10 defeats. LDLC ASVEL has one game less (the match of round 10 against Olympiacos will be played on the 19th of January).

ASVEL was missing its star center Moustapha Fall, and it was especially visible in the paint. The home team had 34 against 26 rebounds of the French club. Also, a low percentage for two points (11/33 – 33%) didn’t help T.J. Parker’s squad against Fenerbahce.

Jan Veseli and Marko Gudurić led the winning squad with 16 points each, while both Nando De Colo and captain Melih Mahmutoglu finished the game with 12 points.

David Lighty scored 11 points for ASVEL and Norris Cole added 10.
