Damian Lillard addressed the heavy loss of the Portland Trail Blazers to the Utah Jazz in the season opener (120-100).
Lillard noted the Blazers should work on their offensive and defensive flaws and figure out their challenges quickly.
“We’ll watch the film tomorrow and see where we can get better… I told the team we have to get better — it’s about us right now. In an NBA season, you worry about your opponent and you prepare for your opponent, but right now, we’ve got to get better,” Lillard told reporters, via Jamie Hudson of NBC Sports Northwest.
Lillard went scoreless in the first half of the game and finished the contest with just nine points (4/12 shooting, 1/7 from beyond the arc).
The Blazers will face the Houston Rockets on Saturday (26/12).
