Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving ends media silence, and sports presenter Shannon Sharpe shared his opinion about Kyrie Irving’s comments to the media:
“I don’t listen to Kyrie anymore because one day I’m going to regret the minutes I spent listening to him… He wants to feel protected in the workspace? What?! The NBA is not trying to suppress you. Bruh, just play basketball, that’s all you’ve got to do,” Sharpe said at the Skip and Shannon: Undisputed sports talk show.
Previously, Irving has denied multiple requests to speak with the media since preseason camp started on Dec. 1. He decided to avoid the media to ensure that his message is conveyed properly. The league issued a $25,000 fine to Irving and the Nets for such behavior.
