The defending NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers waived Zavier Simpson, who was on an Exhibit 10 deal, according to JD Shaw of Hoops Rumors.
The 23-yer-old point guard spent four years with the Michigan Wolverines prior to signing a deal in Europe. Simpson’s last season in Michigan was the best for him individually as he averaged 12.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game.
