The Los Angeles Clippers agreed to terms with veteran forward Patrick Patterson to remain with the team for the next season.

In a deal first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski, Patterson signed an one-year contract. The Clippers hope to return to title contending, after a disappointing second round exit in the playoffs.

In his first season with the Clippers, Patterson averaged 4.9 points and 2.6 rebounds in 51 appearances.

More importantly, he shot 39% from beyond the arc to provide the LA franchise with reliable shooting.
