Portland Trail Blazers forward Rodney Hood is declining his $6 million player option for the 2020-2021 NBA season and becoming a free agent, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Hood continues to recover from a torn Achilles injury he suffered on Dec. 6, 2019 against the Los Angeles Lakers and can reportedly play right away with a new team.

The 28-year-old was limited to 21 games last season and averaged 11.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
