Giannis Antetokounmpo is not expected to be a free agent until the next summer, but the rumors about leaving Milwaukee have already started soon after the Bucks got eliminated in the Eastern Conference semifinal.

Giannis’ compatriot and friend Nick Kyrgios recently stirred the pot by claiming that the Greek Freak smiled when he asked him if he was going to join the Heat:

“I just asked him a bunch of questions. I asked him straight away if he was going to go and join Miami and then he had a massive smile on his face. Maybe that could be brewing,” said Kyrgios.

The back-to-back MVP took to Twitter to comment on his friend’s statement, however he did not deny what Kyrgios said. Giannis is eligible for a contract extension this season, while he can be an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2021.
