Joel Embiid wasted very little time welcoming new assistant coach Dan Burke to the Philadelphia 76ers, reminding the former Indiana Pacers staffer of what he said after a loss to Philly last year.
Burke bluntly claimed to hate the 76ers and pointed out that the NBA lets Joel Embiid get away with stuff he should not be getting away with – yet he will be working for the Sixers moving forward. You could view the clip below:
Naturally, Embiid had to get his two cents out there in the wake of the announcement and has let Burke know they both can enjoy the perks in a hilarious tweet.
Seems like it’s going to be an awkward introduction to the team…
