Tacko Fall concluded his rookie season with the Boston Celtics becoming a pretty popular player among the team’s fans.
The UCF product reflected on his rookie season with Boston and described his experience in the ‘NBA bubble’ on an interview with Celtics’ reporter Amanda Pflugrad.
(via USA Today):
“Personally, I feel like I had a great, great rookie year. Even the fact that … we added a few more months to it worked in my favor as far as my development went. I was a two way player, I spent a lot of time in the G League, and then in the second half I was more in Boston going back and forth … I appreciate the process. I’ve gotten a lot better.”
The fan-favorite talked also on playing in the G-League, his friendship with the fellow Celtics’ big man Enes Kanter and the infamous Tacko Mania, which took the NBA world by storm.
The interview took place at the Boston’s Franklin Park Zoo, which Fall had the chance to visit along with his family that came over from Senegal to meet him, per USA Today Sports.
