Former NBA star Baron Davis reacted to people saying LeBron James should have taken a shot instead of making a pass to Danny Green in crunch time of Game 5.
Despite being wide open, Green missed the three-pointer and the Lakers ended up losing the game 108-111. The play drew criticism from some of the fans.
Some of the NBA stars also shared their take on LeBron’s decision to pass. CJ McCollum, for instance, said he would have taken a shot. At the same time, he said it was a good pass.
Davis sided with LeBron, calling him a genius. “LeBron is a genius when it comes to this game. Stop playing with him. Y’all sorry ass fools who would have shot the ball. Always Be the one waiting next..,” he tweeted.
