The Boston Celtics’ forward Romeo Langford will miss the rest of the playoffs, after undergoing successful surgery in his right wrist, the team announced Tuesday.

The rookie underwent surgery to repair the scapholunate ligament in his wrist. Langford went on to cover the forward position the playoffs, after Gordon Hayward went down with an ankle injury.

Langford provide valuable minutes in the wing through the postseason, but got injured in Game 3 of the ECF series vs. the Miami Heat.
