Giannis Antetokounmpo had a meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks ownership to discuss his future and the future of the franchise on Saturday, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

The report came after the news that Giannis unfollowed the Bucks and his teammates along with other accounts in his social media.

Antetokounmpo, 25, has a year remaining on his contract, and he is eligible for a super-max extension this offseason that is expected to be worth around $254 million over five years.

Milwaukee was outplayed by the Miami Heat in the 2019-2020 postseason, where the top team of the East wasn’t able to advance in the EC Finals.

The upcoming offseason is expected to be busy for the Bucks, as they will try to remain focused on sustaining and building a winning culture.

Antetokounmpo is the reigning MVP and the Defensive Player of the Year, as he had a historically incredible year in the regular season leading the Bucks to the EC top-seed and the best record in the NBA.
