“League circles” believe that the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors are front-runners for Giannis Antetokounmpo if he leaves the Milwaukee Bucks.

One observer told Yahoo Sports “it’s an open secret” within the Orlando “bubble”.

On multiple previous occasions, Antetokounmpo has stated that he wants to remain with the Bucks for years to come.

However, with the Bucks down 2-0 in the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Heat, rumors around the reigning MVP’s future and impending free agency are starting up again.

Odds with most US sportsbooks have been fairly consistent about the move happening. If you want to increase your chances of winning, then having a good strategy and understanding of how to read betting odds is absolutely vital. Not all operators offer the same odds or markets so it’s important to do your research first.

Antetokounmpo is seeing the Heat’s culture built by Pat Riley up close.

With their level of play so far, the Heat could be recruiting him without even saying a word.

Another player who was a star, but transitioned into a superstar and all-time great when he joined the Heat, was LeBron James.

James was able to further improve his game and evolve under head coach Erik Spoelstra.

Luckily for the Bucks, they have some time to figure things out in an attempt to try to turn it around in the series.

In terms of the Raptors, team president Masai Ujiri has a connection with Antetokounmpo.

Ujiri reportedly wanted to draft him back in 2013, but couldn’t get a deal done to move up into the first round.

The two also share a connection off the court, as Ujiri helped Antetokounmpo’s family emigrate from Nigeria to Greece.

In the end, if Antetokounmpo wants to stay true to his word, he could simply sign a long-term, max deal with the Bucks and build his legacy in Milwaukee.
