Following the Lakers 111-88 blowout victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, LeBron James had some high praise for his current teammate, Anthony Davis, as well as some other superstars he’s played alongside.
Anthony Davis put up 31 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists in the Lakers victory. His teammate, LeBron James, had some kind words for his running mate. James, in his postgame interview, said: “When we get it to AD and run the offense through him, it is a luxury for myself and for our team.”
James also remembered some other superstars he’s played alongside:
“AD is one of those unicorns. He does things some of my other great teammates are not capable of doing. In the same sense, I played with Dwyane Wade. He can do some things that AD is not capable of doing. I also played with Kyrie Irving, and he can do some things Dwyane Wade and AD is not capable of doing. I’ve had the luxury of playing with some great players, and that’s just three of them.”
