Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo fractured his thumb during Sunday night’s practice in Orlando, Florida. The 34-year-old will miss 6-8 weeks, according to reports.

Hear why the three-time Super Bowl Champion and Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe believes that Rondo’s injury will hurt the Lakers, but point forward LeBron James will be able to get the job done shorthanded:

In 48 games this season, Rajon Rondo averaged 7.1 points, five assists, 0.8 steals and three rebounds, while shooting at 41.8 percent from the floor and 32.8 percent from deep.

The Lakers are currently leading the Western Conference with 49 wins and 14 losses.
