Pau Gasol, Spanish legend and one of the best European players to ever play in the NBA, turned 40 years old.

  • 3x EuroBasket gold medalist (2009 – 18.7 points, 8.3 rebounds per game, 2011 – 20.1 points, 8.3 rebounds per game, 2015 – 25.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists per game)

Gasol is still a free agent, but he has previously stated that joining the Los Angeles Lakers or Barcelona for a final season would be attractive.
