Outspoken father of Ball brothers, LaVar Ball, recently featured on Complex’s Load Management podcast to talk about the NBA and certain players, connected to their sons.

When talking about his son Lonzo’s impact on current teammate Zion Williamson’s and ex-teammate Kyle Kuzma’s game, LaVar gave all the merits to his eldest son:

“I tell you what, take him [Lonzo Ball] out of the situation and watch what happens [to Zion]. I told them what was going to happen to Kuzma and look. They thought I was crazy when I was telling them Lonzo made Kuzma,” he said.

According to statistics, when playing in partnership with Lonzo Ball in the 2018-19 season for the Lakers Kuz averaged 18.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists per game. Meanwhile, without Ball in the 2019-20 season he is averaging 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
