Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce was in fact a Lakers fan growing up. For the Los Angeles native, there was no other way. Not only that, but he also hated the Celtics, the longtime rival of the Lakers.
“That was a must. I wore a Laker sweater. I’ll show you pictures. I got a Laker sweater I used to wear everyday to school,” The Truth said.
Ironically, he got drafted by Boston 1998 by the 10th pick overall and became the Celtics legend, winning the NBA title in 2008.
