The NBA has given teams permission to continue practicing in the wake of its shutting down the 2019/20 season. That is according to ESPN‘s Tim MacMahon, who cites Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

The league released a statement earlier, confirming a Utah Jazz player tested positive for the coronavirus and informing that gameplay will be suspended indefinitely from Wednesday night. The player was unnamed by both the NBA and the Jazz, who have since put a statement of their own. But several reports claim that player is Rudy Gobert.

The center was questionable for his team’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Arena tonight after testing negative for influenza and strep throat but a subsequent test COVID-19 came back positive.

Gobert is said to be doing well, however, with France teammate Evan Fournier having tweeted that the Jazz star is in good condition after speaking to him over the phone.
