With the spread of the coronavirus continuing, the NBA is thinking of the next steps to keep the league running. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, among considerations is the possibility to move games away from cities that suffer outbreaks.

In such case, the games would be either played in the opponents’ arena or in neutral sites. An option of playing without fans is also discussed. Thus far, none of the teams applied this measure.

“If the virus clusters and forces a team out of its city and arena for a period of time, there has been discussion about moving games to the away opponent’s arena if that city hasn’t suffered an outbreak — or even moving games to neutral cities and sites, league sources told ESPN.”
